Meet Kate
An Amazing Journey
Kate’s life and career is as varied, expressive, and dynamic as the harmony & cadence of her stories.
Listen and before you know it, your own dreams will come knocking!
Kate has presented to nearly 7000 people as a Keynote Concert presenter, and a Life and Relationship Coach, Hypnotherapist and Trainer of professionals in a new model of Human Development. She marched with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Chicago and broke the story of abuse in Willowbrook State School as a reporter in New York. For the last 30 years she has enjoyed the invaluable support of her learning community, Transmutation Nation, and its founder, Anahata Graceland.
In the background was her greatest love—music—which she was raised to believe one didn’t do unless they were the best.
When she found herself environmentally ill and a single parent of a 5-year-old, she searched more deeply for answers to her life situation. After reading Norman Cousins’ Anatomy of an Illness, she understood that unless she did something she loved she would not heal.
She turned to her long-buried passion and began composing songs for her daughter’s kindergarten class. She also created Make-A-Song™, a program to teach groups of children to write songs by democratic process. The joy that music awoke in her and the joy she saw it give others, has stayed with her throughout her career and life changes.
In her 70's following more health challenges, she became a Certified Keynote Concert Speaker and in 2021 won ‘Best Speaker’ in the Fearless Speaker Academy speaker contest.
